Human & AI in focus<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\nAs part of the AI-Path project, aisencia GmbH and the Digital Media Lab<\/a> at the University of Bremen are joining forces to redefine how pathologists work in the digital age:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Use of Explainable AI (xAI) for transparent and understandable AI-based diagnostic suggestions<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Creation of an ergonomic digital workplace \u2013 from laptop to virtual reality (VR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Testing of methods and mechanisms to prevent fatigue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
The results will be tested in pilot laboratories and compared with the current, predominantly analog workflows. The goal is to significantly reduce the workload of pathologists and improve laboratory processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With our AI, more than 50 skin diseases can already be detected \u2014 covering around 80 percent of the daily cases in dermatopathology. Through close collaboration with leading experts and researchers, we aim to make this technology as user-friendly<\/strong> and practical <\/strong>as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout EFRE<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
