Our Fifth ADH Meeting: Why Direct Dialogue Matters So Much to Us
For the fifth year in a row, we had the pleasure of participating in the Annual Meeting of the Working Group for Dermatohistology (ADH). This year’s 33rd edition in Münster was a special one for us: as a Gold Sponsor, we welcomed visitors at our largest booth yet—and somehow, it still felt like we could have used even more space. 😊
What made this year’s meeting truly memorable was the feedback we received from the dermatopathologists using our platform. Many stopped by our booth to tell us how much they enjoy working with our system and how it supports their daily routine. Hearing this directly from our users meant a great deal to our entire team.
At aisencia, we continuously work to improve our software based on user feedback. We know there is always room for improvement, which is why we often focus on what comes next. Receiving such positive feedback was therefore especially rewarding and a great reminder of why we do what we do.
The conference started with an excellent presentation by Prof. Klaus Griewank on “Digitalization and the Use of AI in Dermatopathology”, where he shared his experiences using our platform over the past years.
Another key topic throughout the meeting was ergonomics in digital dermatopathology. Transitioning from the microscope to a fully digital workflow is a significant change for pathologists. We were therefore delighted to host our symposium: “Ergonomic Digital Dermatopathology: How the Optimal Interaction of Software and Hardware Can Transform the Workplace of the Future.” The discussions that followed were inspiring, and we were excited to see our booth filled with attendees continuing the conversation.
Even after five years at ADH, we continue to make valuable new connections, exchange ideas with experts, and gain important insights into the evolving needs of dermatopathologists. These conversations are essential—they help us build technology that solves real-world challenges and makes everyday diagnostic workflows more efficient.
