aisencia® and HpH Establish New Development Partnership
On January 14, 2026, aisencia and HpH Institute of Pathology and Hematopathology Hamburg entered into a comprehensive development partnership (in the title image, from left to right: Prof. Dr. Markus Tiemann, PD Dr. Lukas Heukamp, Daniel, Max, Jean, and Dietrich at the contract signing). Together, we aim to further develop our Vistaneos Laboratory Information System, originally designed for dermatopathology, into a truly modern, high-performance, and fully integrated LIS for general pathology.
The new LIS will seamlessly and technologically integrate all aspects and processes of pathology laboratories at the cutting edge of innovation. In addition, advanced image processing tools and AI-powered diagnostic assistants will be natively integrated, providing all staff involved in the processes with market-leading functionality and usability. Conceptually, the LIS is being developed as a true end-to-end solution, connecting all functions along the entire process chain – from sample receipt to laboratory processing and reporting through to billing –without media discontinuities.
We are very pleased, after a long and intensive search, to have found in aisencia an outstanding partner for LIS development who, for the first time, has been able to demonstrate a genuine future perspective for the meaningful and effective integration of laboratory processes with AI applications.
