aisencia® secures €150 000 BRE-Up funding for “DERM-BOOST”
aisencia® GmbH has been awarded €150,000 in EU funding through the BRE-Up program to further develop its digital, AI-powered software solutions Vistaneos and Cutaneos 80, which are designed for modern diagnostics in dermatopathology. The program is supported and funded by Starthaus Bremen, Bremer Aufbau-Bank (BAB), the Senator for Economy, Ports and Transformation of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, and the European Union.
“This endorsement from our home state is a great vote of confidence,” says Dr. Max Schmidt, one of the managing directors of aisencia. “It reinforces our mission to make high-quality skin-cancer diagnostics more precise and faster, and to boost the laboratory workflows.”
DERM-BOOST: Boosting Efficiency in Daily Lab Operations
The project aims to validate customer benefits through the use of the Cutaneos 80 AI system in collaboration with two pathology-laboratory partners, and to implement interface functionalities in the Vistaneos system to ensure full interoperability with other software and hardware used in pathology labs. Thanks to BRE-Up, we can accelerate these integrations and shorten the time-to-value for our users, strengthening everyday laboratory workflows. The project runs from January 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, under the motto: “Achieving Scalability and Validating Efficiency for Practical Laboratory Use.”
